Six year old Will is very excited about learning to ski. His first challenge comes within the lodge as he tries to fasten his boots. An older boy in a wheelchair comes to his rescue, helps with the boots and continues to help and befriend him in this new learning experience.
Ari, the boy in the wheelchair, has spina bifida and skis with special equipment. With a simple explanation, he satisfies Will’s curiosity and explains what spina bifida is.
