This is a guide to helping children who have difficulty in eating and drinking. Although particularly relevant to cerebral palsy, the information and management techniques can be applied to other disabilities including children with general developmental delay.
The first chapters provide background information and case studies. Specific areas of concern, such as positioning, assessment, nutrition, dental hygiene and dribbling are dealt with. Clear line drawings are used to illustrate key concepts.
