Drop-Out Prevention: Parents Play a Key Role

For students with disabilities, the national school drop-out rate is a staggering 37.6percent,

more than twice that of their peerswithout disabilities.

For some minority students with disabilities, the drop-out rate goes as high as 50 percent.
