The Developmental Disabilities Program is a state department that provides oversight and funding to individuals who receive developmental disability services that are available from providers.
We feel it is valuable to have meaningful contact and dialog with families and individuals in our services. By having that contact we can share information, discuss how services are going, and include recipients in policy decisions that affect the developmental disabilities community. We would like to encourage families and individuals with developmental disabilities to attend and share thoughts and ideas in regards to establishing ongoing interaction.
There will be meetings offered at different locations around the state to determine what communication is needed with the department and what works best in each area. Below are the times and locations for the upcoming January community outreach meetings.
